Private E.H. Parr

Mr and Mrs Parr of 6 Annerley Street, Denaby have been notified of the death of their oldest son in action.

Private E.H.Parr was 32 years of age, single, and worked at the Denaby Main Colliery up to the time of enlistment in January 1915.

He went to Gallipoli in September 1915, and was invalided home in March 1916.

He went to France in June 1917, and was killed on August 11 by a shell.
