Pictorial Diorama at Denaby

On Tuesday night a very successful entrainment was given in the colliery school room, Denaby Main under auspices of the miners permanent relief fund when Mr. W. Watson, secretary of the West Riding fund, gave an address.

The entertainment was made up of pictorial diorama by the aid of the oxy-hydrogen lime light (exhibited by Mr. Blyth) in the course of which some beautiful views of the life of Roberts Burns, Livingston’s life and travels, and the late Russo-Turkish war were exhibited.

The school room was crowded
