Pleasing Testimonial
The reverent F.W.Benyon, who has now entered upon his duties at Kempsey, preached his farewell sermon at Denaby, Rotherham, on Sunday last.
During the time the reverent gentleman was located at Denaby, he was instrumental in establishing a mission church, and in many other ways both himself and Mrs Benyon gained the esteem and affection of their parishioners, who mainly consist Colliers and their families.
On Monday last Mr Benyon was presented with an address, bearing 500 signatures, in which the parishioners hve expressed their regret at his leaving them, their appreciation of the many acts of kindness received at the hands of himself and Mrs Benyon, and wishing them both health and prosperity in the performance of their future labours.
