These privileges, which are to be conferred upon the people of Denaby at no very distant day, will be octane, as was stated in the Times last week, principally through the generosity of the Lord of the Manor, S.J.Fullerton, Esq and the kindness is appreciated in no small degree.

The library will be the first to be granted and it is expected that this will soon be well stocked with box. There is no question that when this is done, but very few of the miners will be found straggling about the village or wasting their time in the beer shops, for they will prefer to “drink in” the knowledge from the valuable collection of works with which the library will be stored.

It might be stated that the collections, on BR for the Minus Permanent Relief Society, which were made at the opening services at the Mission , Church, amounted to £3 17s 0d, and also that the reverent, J.M.Evans, curate in charge, conducted the service in the morning.
