Wesleyan Anniversary – Public Meeting and Children’s Games

Wesleyan Anniversary.

On Sunday last the anniversary services in connection with the Denaby Wesleyan Sunday school were preached by Mr J. Killingrey, of Doncaster.

On the following eveninga public meeting was held, presided over by Mr J Warburton, manager of the Denaby Main Colliery, when addresses were delivered by the Rev, J.C.W.Gostick, the Rev. J.Pickup and Messrs Blyth, Smith and Pigburn.

The schoolchildren, along with the teachers, met in a field and had a number of games, everything passing off very satisfactorily.
